HR Manager | Grand Haven, MI

Salary Range: $85,000 - $130,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with manufacturing goals.
• Manage full recruitment lifecycle for all plant positions, from entry-level to leadership.
• Oversee employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws and safety regulations.
• Administer compensation and benefits programs, including payroll oversight and benefits enrollment.
• Implement and manage performance management systems, including reviews and goal setting.
• Develop and deliver training programs for employees and supervisors on various HR topics.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a management role within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations (e.g., FMLA, ADA, FLSA, OSHA).
• Proven experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and HRIS utilization.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and the ability to contribute to a culture of workplace safety.

Bonus Qualifications

• SHRM-SCP certification
• Experience with HRIS implementation and optimization
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
• Fluency in Spanish
