HR Generalist | Lansing, MI
Salary Range: $60,000 - $87,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We are partnering with organizations in Lansing that are seeking HR Generalists. These companies are committed to building strong teams and are looking for professionals who can lead initiatives effectively. Key Responsibilities
- Administer full employee lifecycle, from recruitment to offboarding, for manufacturing staff.
- Support HR Director in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures specific to the plant environment.
- Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions, for production teams.
- Oversee payroll processing and benefits administration for all manufacturing employees.
- Conduct new hire orientations and facilitate ongoing training programs for factory workers.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations within the manufacturing facility.
- Maintain accurate HR records and HRIS data for the manufacturing workforce.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws (e.g., FMLA, ADA, FLSA, OSHA).
- Experience with HRIS systems and payroll processing.
- Demonstrated ability to handle employee relations, investigations, and conflict resolution.
Bonus Qualifications
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification
- Experience with HRIS implementation or optimization
- Demonstrated ability to analyze HR metrics and present data-driven insights
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
