Salary Range: $41,000 - $64,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials, components, and sub-assemblies against engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Utilize various inspection tools and equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, optical comparators, and CMMs, to verify conformance.
• Document inspection results accurately and thoroughly in the designated quality management system or logbooks.
• Identify and segregate non-conforming materials, initiating non-conformance reports (NCRs) and collaborating with relevant departments for disposition.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe inspection area, ensuring proper calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment.
• Assist in the development and improvement of inspection procedures and work instructions.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in a technical field preferred.
• 1-3 years experience in quality control or incoming inspection within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications (GD&T preferred).
• Experience with various inspection tools and metrology equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, height gauges, CMM).
• Strong understanding of sampling plans (e.g., ANSI/ASQ Z1.4) and quality standards.
• Ability to accurately document inspection results and identify non-conformances.
