Salary Range: $48,000 - $71,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections of products for defects, damage, or non-conformance.
• Utilize precision measuring tools and equipment to verify product specifications and dimensions.
• Document inspection results accurately, including identification of defects and corrective actions.
• Conduct in-process and final product inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement preventive measures.
• Maintain and calibrate inspection equipment according to established procedures.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 1-3 years of experience in quality control or manufacturing inspection
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Strong understanding of GD&T principles and measurement techniques
• Experience with various inspection tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM)
• Ability to identify and document non-conformances accurately

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with various measurement tools beyond basic calipers (e.g., CMM, optical comparators, profilometers).
• ASQ certification (e.g., Certified Quality Inspector - CQI).
• Ability to interpret and understand GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Basic understanding of statistical process control (SPC).
