Inventory Control Manager | Wayland, MI

Salary Range: $75,000 - $114,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Wayland that are seeking Inventory Control Managers. These companies are committed to building strong teams and are looking for professionals who can lead initiatives effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement inventory control procedures and policies.
• Oversee cycle counting and physical inventory processes to ensure accuracy.
• Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, and optimize stock levels.
• Manage and resolve inventory discrepancies, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with production, purchasing, and warehousing to ensure efficient material flow.
• Implement and maintain inventory management systems and technologies.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in inventory control, logistics, or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and WMS.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel).
• Demonstrated ability to implement and improve inventory management processes and strategies.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP system implementation or optimization.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• APICS CSCP or CPIM certification.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Experience with automation technologies in inventory management.
