Salary Range: $67,000 - $106,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the Paw Paw region seeking PLC Programmers. These employers partner with us because they want real insight into candidates—not just resumes. By joining our network, you gain access to roles worth considering.

Key Responsibilities

• Designs, programs, and tests PLC logic for automated manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoots and resolves complex electrical and programming issues on production lines.
• Develops and maintains HMI applications for machine control and data visualization.
• Collaborates with engineers and production staff to define project requirements and specifications.
• Implements and optimizes industrial communication protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, PROFINET).
• Creates and updates technical documentation, including electrical schematics and program comments.
• Provides technical support and training to maintenance and operations personnel.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience programming PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.) in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in Ladder Logic, Structured Text, and Function Block Diagram programming languages.
• Demonstrated experience with HMI/SCADA development and integration.
• Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, Modbus TCP/IP).
• Ability to troubleshoot complex automation systems and diagnose electrical/mechanical issues.
