Salary Range: $48,000 - $74,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate various presses (e.g., punch, brake, forming) according to job specifications.
• Load and unload raw materials and finished parts from presses.
• Monitor press operation to ensure quality production and identify potential issues.
• Perform in-process quality checks using measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor press malfunctions and perform routine maintenance.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedules.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years experience operating and setting up manufacturing presses.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
• Demonstrated ability to perform quality checks using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of printing equipment
• Forklift certification and experience operating a forklift
• Proficiency with computer systems for job tracking, quality control, and machine operation
• Prior experience training or mentoring junior operators
