Salary Range: $68,000 - $107,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Hart that are seeking PLC Programmers. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement PLC programs for automated manufacturing processes.
• Troubleshoot and debug existing PLC code to optimize machine performance and resolve issues.
• Configure and integrate HMI systems to provide intuitive operator interfaces.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to define control system requirements.
• Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and upgrades of control system hardware and software.
• Develop and maintain accurate documentation for PLC programs and control systems.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years experience programming PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.) in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in HMI/SCADA development and configuration.
• Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (EtherNet/IP, Profinet, Modbus TCP/IP).
• Experience with robotic integration and programming.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and P&ID diagrams.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with HMI/SCADA development and configuration.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages (e.g., Python, C#) for scripting or data analysis.
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols beyond standard PLC (e.g., OPC UA, MQTT).
• Knowledge of industrial cybersecurity best practices.
• Experience with robotic programming or vision systems.
