Plant Manager | Allegan, MI

Salary Range: $142,000 - $193,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Allegan that are seeking skilled Plant Managers. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily plant operations for safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve productivity and reduce costs.
• Manage and mentor a diverse team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production schedules and supply chain processes.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as needed to meet targets.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
• 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing operations
• Proven track record of improving production efficiency and reducing costs
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
• Demonstrated ability to manage and develop a diverse team
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems implementation or optimization
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop direct reports
• Fluency in Spanish (or other relevant language based on location/workforce demographics)
