Press Operator / Setup | Whitehall, MI

Salary Range: $45,000 - $70,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Whitehall that are seeking Press Operator / Setups. These companies are committed to building strong teams and are looking for professionals who can lead initiatives effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate various presses according to specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on machinery.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products and make necessary adjustments.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and work orders.
• Troubleshoot and resolve press-related issues during production.
• Load and unload raw materials and finished goods.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years experience as a Press Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
• Proven mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with setup, operation, and maintenance of various presses (e.g., hydraulic, mechanical).
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with preventative maintenance on presses
• Forklift certification
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or blueprints
• Proficiency in using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools
