Salary Range: $42,000 - $67,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Ludington that are seeking skilled Press Operator / Setups. Key Responsibilities

• Sets up, adjusts, and operates various presses according to specifications.
• Monitors machine operation for proper function, quality, and output.
• Performs routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment.
• Troubleshoots and resolves issues related to press operation and product quality.
• Interprets blueprints, job orders, and other work instructions accurately.
• Conducts quality checks on finished products to ensure adherence to standards.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of experience operating manufacturing machinery, preferably presses.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
• Proficiency in using precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
• Strong mechanical aptitude for machine setup, adjustments, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with preventative maintenance on presses
• Forklift certification
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints or technical drawings
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
