Salary Range: $79,000 - $124,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Allegan seeking HR Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures tailored to manufacturing operations.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies for factory and office staff.
  • Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions, ensuring compliance with labor laws.
  • Administer compensation and benefits programs, including payroll processing and annual reviews for all employees.
  • Drive performance management processes, including goal setting, appraisals, and professional development plans.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and safety regulations within the manufacturing environment.
  • Lead training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and productivity in a manufacturing setting.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a management role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state labor laws, HR best practices, and manufacturing-specific HR challenges.
  • Demonstrated experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and HRIS.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies that support operational goals and improve employee engagement.
