Salary Range: $80,000 - $114,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Mason that are seeking IATF Quality Engineers. These companies are committed to building strong teams and are looking for professionals who can lead initiatives effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IATF 16949 compliant quality management system processes and procedures.
• Conduct internal audits and manage external IATF certification audits, including corrective action follow-up.
• Lead problem-solving activities using core tools (8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa) for customer and internal quality issues.
• Analyze quality data (e.g., scrap, rework, customer returns) to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Facilitate APQP activities, including FMEAs, Control Plans, and PPAP submissions for new product launches.
• Provide training and support to manufacturing teams on quality tools, standards, and best practices.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
• 3+ years experience as a Quality Engineer in an automotive manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in IATF 16949 standards and implementation.
• Proficient in core quality tools: APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Bonus Qualifications

• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification
• Experience with AIAG Core Tools training and implementation (e.g., APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC)
• Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) for data analysis and problem-solving
• Experience with customer-specific requirements (CSRs) from major automotive OEMs
• Black Belt or Green Belt Six Sigma certification
