HR Manager | Spring Lake, MI

Salary Range: $86,000 - $131,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Spring Lake that are seeking skilled HR Managers. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures compliant with labor laws and company objectives.
  • Oversee recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes for a diverse manufacturing workforce.
  • Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
  • Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and compliance.
  • Drive performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews, and development plans.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
  • Facilitate training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and productivity.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5+ years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a management role within a manufacturing environment
  • Proven experience with HRIS implementation and optimization
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations
  • Demonstrated ability to manage employee relations, performance management, and talent acquisition in a production-focused setting
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) preferred
