Salary Range: $55,000 - $87,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components in manufacturing machinery.
• Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions using schematics, multimeters, and other testing equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems to minimize downtime.
• Calibrate and adjust electrical equipment to optimize performance and ensure accuracy.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and electrical codes during installations and repairs.
• Interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and ladder logic diagrams.

Recommended Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Industrial Electrician apprenticeship program or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid provincial/state electrician license (e.g., Red Seal Journeyman Electrician).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Demonstrated experience with PLC programming, HMI interfaces, and industrial control systems.
• Strong understanding of electrical safety regulations (e.g., Lockout/Tagout) and safe work practices.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with robotic control systems and their associated electrical components.
• Certification in thermography or other predictive maintenance technologies.
• Proficiency in programming PLCs (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens) beyond basic troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with industrial networking protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet).
