Salary Range: $49,000 - $81,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Mattawan that are seeking Field Service Technicians. Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and preventative repairs on manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system malfunctions.
• Execute emergency repairs and provide rapid response to minimize production downtime.
• Calibrate and test equipment to ensure optimal performance and adherence to specifications.
• Document all service activities, including repairs, parts used, and test results.
• Provide technical support and training to production operators on equipment operation and basic maintenance.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies during service operations.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in electronics, mechatronics, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints.
• Strong understanding of PLC control systems and HMI interfaces.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer sites.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with specific manufacturing equipment (e.g., CNC machines, robotics, PLCs).
• Prior military experience in a technical field.
• Certifications in relevant areas (e.g., OSHA, specific software/hardware, electrical).
• Fluency in multiple languages, particularly those common in a global manufacturing environment.
