Facilities Manager | Allegan, MI

Salary Range: $85,000 - $130,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Allegan that are seeking Facilities Managers. These companies are committed to building strong teams and are looking for professionals who can lead initiatives effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment and infrastructure.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
• Manage facilities-related vendor relationships and service contracts.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations for the facility.
• Plan and manage facility upgrades, renovations, and new construction projects.
• Develop and manage the facilities operating budget.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in facilities management, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience managing budgets, contractors, and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing), safety regulations, and preventative maintenance programs.
• Experience with CMMS software and project management tools.

Bonus Qualifications

• Proactive experience with predictive maintenance technologies (e.g., vibration analysis, thermal imaging).
• Demonstrated ability to implement and manage a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles as they apply to facilities management.
• Knowledge of sustainable building practices and energy management systems.
