Salary Range: $62,000 - $95,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Prepares accurate and timely cost estimates for manufacturing projects.
• Collaborates with sales, engineering, and production to define project scope and requirements.
• Analyzes blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates.
• Solicits and evaluates quotes from suppliers and subcontractors for materials and services.
• Identifies cost-saving opportunities and alternative materials or processes.
• Presents detailed estimates and proposals to internal stakeholders and external clients.
• Maintains and updates a database of cost information and historical data.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in cost estimating within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and labor costs.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Experience with estimating software and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
