Salary Range: $103,000 - $150,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Jenison seeking Operations Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production activities to ensure efficiency and adherence to schedules.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to optimize productivity and quality.
• Manage and mentor a team of production supervisors and line workers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions to achieve operational targets.
• Collaborate with supply chain, engineering, and quality departments to streamline processes and resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and environmental standards within the manufacturing facility.
• Drive cost reduction initiatives through process improvements and resource optimization.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in operations management within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and optimize production processes, supply chain, and logistics.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in employee development and performance management.
• Proficiency in using ERP/MRP systems and other manufacturing software.
