Salary Range: $67,000 - $106,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Designs, develops, and optimizes manufacturing processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Troubleshoots production issues and implements corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Conducts process capability studies and implements statistical process control (SPC) methods.
- Evaluates and recommends new manufacturing technologies, equipment, and materials.
- Develops and maintains standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams on new product introduction (NPI) and design for manufacturability (DFM).
- Implements continuous improvement initiatives, such as Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
- Ensures manufacturing processes comply with safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on process improvement and optimization.
- Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing principles and tools (e.g., Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Kaizen).
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including machining, assembly, and automation.
- Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for design and analysis of manufacturing layouts and tooling.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions to manufacturing challenges.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Project management experience, including leading cross-functional teams.
- Ability to interpret and create technical drawings and schematics.
