Salary Range: $67,000 - $106,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and optimizes manufacturing processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Troubleshoots production issues and implements corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Conducts process capability studies and implements statistical process control (SPC) methods.
• Evaluates and recommends new manufacturing technologies, equipment, and materials.
• Develops and maintains standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams on new product introduction (NPI) and design for manufacturability (DFM).
• Implements continuous improvement initiatives, such as Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
• Ensures manufacturing processes comply with safety, quality, and environmental regulations.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on process improvement and optimization.
• Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing principles and tools (e.g., Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Kaizen).
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including machining, assembly, and automation.
• Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for design and analysis of manufacturing layouts and tooling.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions to manufacturing challenges.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Project management experience, including leading cross-functional teams.
• Ability to interpret and create technical drawings and schematics.
