Maintenance Manager | St. Johns, MI

Salary Range: $87,000 - $128,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across St. Johns seeking Maintenance Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement maintenance programs for all manufacturing equipment.
• Lead and mentor a team of maintenance technicians and supervisors.
• Manage departmental budget, including spare parts inventory and external services.
• Oversee the scheduling and execution of preventative and predictive maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and uptime.
• Collaborate with production to optimize maintenance schedules and minimize disruptions.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field
• 7+ years of progressive experience in maintenance management within a manufacturing environment
• Proven expertise in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) implementation and optimization
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing technical teams
• OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
