Salary Range: $73,000 - $112,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Charlotte seeking Manufacturing Engineers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts.
  • Analyze and optimize production workflows, equipment, and space utilization to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing process issues, implementing corrective actions and preventive measures.
  • Evaluate and select new manufacturing technologies, equipment, and materials to enhance production capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process specifications, and quality control plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, quality, and production, to ensure successful product launches and continuous improvement.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on process improvement and optimization.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and experience with design for manufacturability (DFM).
  • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and other continuous improvement tools.
  • Experience with manufacturing process development, including tooling design, fixture design, and assembly procedures.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with a specific CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA).
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Basic programming skills (e.g., Python, VBA) for automation or data analysis.
  • Project management experience or certification (e.g., PMP).
