Salary Range: $77,000 - $117,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the transfer of new products from design to manufacturing.
• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for new products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches.
• Conduct design for manufacturability (DFM) and assembly (DFA) reviews.
• Define and implement quality control plans for new products.
• Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues during pilot production.
• Document and maintain manufacturing process instructions and specifications.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in NPI (New Product Introduction) within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and PLM systems (e.g., Windchill, Agile).
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including assembly, machining, and fabrication.
• Experience with DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and DFA (Design for Assembly) principles.
• Proficiency in data analysis and problem-solving methodologies (e.g., Root Cause Analysis, 8D).

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLM systems (e.g., Windchill, Teamcenter).
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles.
• Proficiency in a scripting language (e.g., Python, VBA) for automation.
• Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, CAPM).
