Salary Range: $49,000 - $76,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Holland that are seeking Metrology Technicians. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform dimensional inspections of manufactured parts and assemblies using various metrology equipment.
  • Calibrate and maintain measurement tools and equipment according to established procedures and industry standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with measurement equipment and processes, documenting findings and solutions.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and specifications to determine appropriate measurement methods and acceptance criteria.
  • Develop and implement new measurement techniques and procedures to improve accuracy, efficiency, and repeatability.
  • Document inspection results, create reports, and maintain accurate records in compliance with quality management systems.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to identify and resolve measurement-related discrepancies and root causes.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Metrology, Quality Assurance, or a related technical field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, performing calibration and measurement tasks.
  • Proficient in using a wide range of precision measurement tools (e.g., CMM, calipers, micrometers, bore gauges).
  • Strong understanding of GD&T principles and their application in manufacturing.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
  • Experience with calibration software and metrology data analysis.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with automated metrology equipment (CMMs, Vision Systems).
  • Proficient in statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis.
  • Familiarity with ISO 17025 accreditation requirements.
  • Strong understanding of GD&T principles and applications.
