Salary Range: $46,000 - $71,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support for IT hardware, software, and network issues across office and manufacturing environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with manufacturing-specific applications (e.g., MES, ERP modules) and specialized shop floor equipment.
  • Support and maintain industrial PCs, barcode scanners, label printers, and other production-critical IT devices.
  • Respond to and prioritize urgent IT incidents impacting production lines and operational continuity.
  • Perform routine maintenance, installations, and configurations for manufacturing workstations and peripheral devices.
  • Document support tickets, resolutions, and create knowledge base articles for common manufacturing IT problems.
  • Assist with user account management and access control for manufacturing systems.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
  • Proficiency with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a focus on supporting users in a manufacturing environment.
  • Basic understanding of IT systems common in manufacturing (e.g., shop floor PCs, industrial printers).
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently, often under time pressure.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience supporting ERP systems common in manufacturing (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Infor).
  • Familiarity with industrial control systems (ICS) or SCADA environments.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes or terminology.
  • Experience with barcode scanners or ruggedized mobile devices.
