Salary Range: $54,000 - $88,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize CNC programs for multi-axis milling machines using CAM software.
• Select appropriate tooling, cutting parameters, and machining strategies for various materials.
• Simulate and verify CNC programs to ensure collision avoidance, efficiency, and part quality.
• Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T specifications to define machining processes.
• Collaborate with machinists and engineers to troubleshoot programming issues and refine manufacturing processes.
• Design and develop custom fixtures and workholding solutions to support machining operations.
• Create and maintain detailed setup sheets, tooling lists, and operational documentation.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks CAM, Fusion 360).
• Strong understanding and ability to write/edit G-code and M-code programming.
• Ability to interpret engineering blueprints, schematics, and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Knowledge of cutting tools, materials, feeds, speeds, and machining processes.
• Proven experience in setting up and operating CNC milling machines.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with 5-axis programming and simulation software (e.g., Vericut).
• Proficiency in designing custom tooling and fixtures.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Familiarity with CMM programming and advanced metrology techniques.
