Salary Range: $65,000 - $98,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations and company policies.
• Conduct regular EHS inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs, procedures, and training materials specific to manufacturing operations.
• Deliver comprehensive EHS training to employees on topics such as hazard communication, LOTO, and emergency response.
• Lead and document EHS incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
• Manage hazardous waste streams and ensure proper disposal in accordance with environmental regulations.
• Prepare and submit required EHS reports to regulatory agencies and internal management.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related technical discipline.
• 3-5 years of dedicated EHS experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of federal (OSHA, EPA) and state EHS regulations and standards.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct EHS training, incident investigations, risk assessments, and develop corrective actions.
• Experience with EHS management systems (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001) and continuous improvement principles.

Bonus Qualifications

• Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) or Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) designation.
• Experience with EHS management software platforms (e.g., Intelex, Cority, Sphera).
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Lead Auditor certification for ISO 14001 or ISO 45001.
