The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Process customer orders, ensuring accuracy of product specifications, quantities, and delivery schedules.
- Serve as a primary liaison between customers and internal departments like production, quality control, and shipping.
- Provide product information, technical specifications, and usage guidance for manufactured goods.
- Resolve customer complaints related to product defects, order discrepancies, or delayed shipments.
- Track order status from production through delivery, providing proactive updates to customers.
- Assist customers with return merchandise authorization (RMA) processes for manufactured items.
- Generate quotes and provide pricing information for custom or standard manufactured products.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, product specifications, or technical terminology
- Proficiency with ERP/CRM systems and order management software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities to address customer inquiries, complaints, and technical issues effectively
