Salary Range: $86,000 - $132,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of building infrastructure and production equipment maintenance, including preventative and reactive strategies.
• Manage facilities budget, including operational expenses and capital expenditure planning for upgrades and repairs.
• Ensure strict compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and building regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA, local codes).
• Coordinate and manage external contractors and service providers for facility-related projects and ongoing services.
• Develop and implement facility improvement projects, including plant layout changes, expansions, and new equipment installations.
• Optimize utility consumption (energy, water) and waste management programs to enhance sustainability and reduce operational costs.
• Lead, train, and develop the facilities maintenance team, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Recommended Qualifications

• Technical expertise in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and industrial machinery maintenance specific to manufacturing environments.
• Proven experience with regulatory compliance (OSHA, EPA, local building codes) and safety protocols in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong project management skills for facility upgrades, expansions, and equipment installations.
• Proficiency in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for asset tracking and preventive maintenance.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, control costs, and negotiate with vendors and contractors.
• Experience leading and developing a team of maintenance technicians.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Experience with advanced Building Management Systems (BMS) or Building Automation Systems (BAS).
• Certified Energy Manager (CEM) qualification.
