Salary Range: $48,000 - $79,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machinery (mills, lathes, grinders).
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code.
• Inspect finished parts for quality using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers).
• Load raw materials and unload finished components from machines.
• Monitor machine performance, making adjustments to optimize production and quality.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of CNC equipment.
• Troubleshoot basic machine issues and alarms during operation.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience operating, setting up, and troubleshooting CNC mills and/or lathes.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Ability to perform tool changes, offsets, and basic G-code/M-code editing.
• Competence in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges.
• Strong understanding of various machining materials and their properties.

Bonus Qualifications

• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks CAM).
• Experience operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) or other advanced metrology equipment.
• Demonstrated ability in basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
