Salary Range: $62,000 - $95,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, calibrate, and commission new robotic systems and peripheral equipment.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance on industrial robots and associated machinery.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical, mechanical, and software faults in robotic cells.
  • Execute corrective repairs, including component replacement and system adjustments.
  • Program and re-program robot paths, logic, and functions using teach pendants.
  • Conduct thorough testing of robotic systems to ensure proper functionality and safety.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance, repair, and programming activities.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Proficiency in programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining industrial robots (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB).
  • Strong understanding and practical experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and HMI systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic schematics for system diagnosis and repair.
  • Associate's degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Automation Technology, or equivalent industrial experience.
  • Proven experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance on automated manufacturing equipment.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with Python or other scripting languages for automation tasks.
  • Familiarity with CAD software for reviewing designs and layouts.
  • Prior experience with collaborative robots (cobots) or mobile robots (AGVs/AMRs).
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
  • Experience with data analysis tools for predictive maintenance or performance optimization.
