Salary Range: $74,000 - $108,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality control plans, procedures, and standards.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for non-conformances and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Perform statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis to monitor and improve product quality and process capability.
  • Manage supplier quality, including audits, performance monitoring, and defect resolution.
  • Lead or participate in internal and external quality audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to optimize production processes and reduce defects.
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) by ensuring quality requirements are integrated from design to production.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field
  • 3+ years of experience in a Quality Engineering role within a manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency with core quality tools and methodologies (e.g., FMEA, SPC, MSA, Root Cause Analysis, 8D)
  • Strong understanding and application of statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other relevant quality management system standards (e.g., IATF 16949, AS9100)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead problem-solving initiatives and drive continuous improvement

Bonus Qualifications

  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
  • Proficiency with advanced statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
  • Experience with automated inspection or machine vision systems
  • Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for design review and GD&T interpretation
