Salary Range: $84,000 - $118,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supplier quality improvement plans.
• Conduct supplier audits to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement.
• Investigate and resolve supplier-related quality issues and non-conformances.
• Collaborate with sourcing and engineering to qualify new suppliers and parts.
• Monitor and report on key supplier quality performance metrics.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for supplier quality processes.
• Participate in the selection and evaluation of new suppliers.
• Ensure supplier adherence to company quality standards and specifications.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field
• 3+ years experience in supplier quality or quality engineering in a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and quality tools (e.g., PPAP, APQP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, 8D)
• Proven ability to conduct supplier audits and drive root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Experience with various manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, injection molding, casting, welding)

Bonus Qualifications

• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) certification
• Experience with advanced quality tools such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or Statistical Process Control (SPC)
• Proficiency in a second language, particularly Spanish or Mandarin
• Familiarity with a specific manufacturing process, such as injection molding, casting, or machining
• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems like SAP or Oracle
