Salary Range: $86,000 - $132,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Portage that are seeking skilled Six Sigma Black Belts. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute complex Six Sigma projects to improve manufacturing processes and product quality.
• Mentor Green Belts and other team members in Six Sigma methodologies and tools.
• Analyze manufacturing data using statistical methods to identify root causes of defects and inefficiencies.
• Develop and implement control plans to sustain process improvements and prevent recurrence of issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, production, and quality to drive operational excellence.
• Facilitate training sessions on Six Sigma principles, tools, and best practices for manufacturing personnel.
• Track and report on project progress, financial impact, and key performance indicators to leadership.

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Industry 4.0 technologies (e.g., IoT, AI, ML) in process improvement.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop Green Belts and other continuous improvement practitioners.
• Familiarity with advanced statistical software beyond Minitab (e.g., R, Python with statistical packages).
• Proven track record of leading successful change management initiatives alongside technical improvements.
• Experience in applying Lean principles and tools in a manufacturing environment.
