Salary Range: $80,000 - $113,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supplier quality improvement plans.
• Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Investigate and resolve supplier quality issues, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define supplier quality requirements for new products and processes.
• Monitor and report on key supplier quality performance metrics.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers to enhance product quality and reduce defects.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field
• 3+ years experience in supplier quality or quality engineering in a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949) and quality tools (e.g., PPAP, APQP, FMEA, SPC, MSA)
• Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

Bonus Qualifications

• ASQ certifications (e.g., CSQE, CQE, CQA)
• Experience with advanced quality planning (AQP) tools like APQP, PPAP, FMEA
• Familiarity with specific industry standards (e.g., ISO 13485, IATF 16949, AS9100)
• Proficiency in a second language relevant to the supply chain
• Experience with data analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP, SQL)
