Salary Range: $89,000 - $135,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute complex Six Sigma Black Belt projects from inception to completion within manufacturing operations.
• Mentor and coach Green Belts and other team members on Six Sigma methodologies and tools.
• Analyze manufacturing processes to identify root causes of defects, inefficiencies, and variations.
• Develop and implement sustainable solutions to improve quality, reduce costs, and enhance operational efficiency.
• Utilize advanced statistical analysis and data visualization tools to drive data-driven decision making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, production, and quality to achieve project objectives.

Recommended Qualifications

• Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) from ASQ or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience leading Six Sigma projects in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) and advanced statistical methods.
• Proven ability to achieve significant cost savings, quality improvements, and process efficiencies through Six Sigma methodologies.
• Experience mentoring and coaching Green Belts and project teams.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Industry 4.0 technologies (AI, ML, IoT) in a manufacturing context.
• Certified in Agile methodologies (Scrum Master, SAFe Agilist) with experience applying them to process improvement.
• Proficient in advanced statistical software (e.g., R, Python with statistical libraries) beyond basic Minitab.
• Experience with Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) and its application in new product development or process design.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop Green Belts and other team members in Six Sigma methodologies.
