Salary Range: $44,000 - $69,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Cadillac that are seeking Quality Inspectors. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products.
  • Utilize precision measuring instruments, such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges, to verify product specifications.
  • Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records of quality control activities.
  • Identify and report non-conforming materials or products, initiating appropriate corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement preventive measures.
  • Perform first-article inspections and provide feedback on new product development.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, company procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Recommended Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
  • 2+ years experience in quality control or inspection within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
  • Demonstrated ability to use precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
  • Strong understanding of statistical process control (SPC) and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify defects and non-conformances.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with CMM or other automated inspection equipment.
  • ASQ certifications (e.g., CQI, CQT).
  • Ability to interpret and apply GD&T principles.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Basic understanding of statistical process control (SPC).
