Salary Range: $44,000 - $69,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify product specifications.
• Document inspection results accurately, including non-conformances, and maintain detailed records.
• Initiate and participate in root cause analysis for identified defects and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications throughout the manufacturing process.
• Perform first-article inspections and in-process checks to prevent defects and ensure continuous quality.
• Verify calibration status of inspection equipment and report any discrepancies.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schecharts, and technical documents
• Familiarity with precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
• Strong understanding of GD&T principles
• Ability to perform visual inspections with a high degree of accuracy

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CMM or other automated inspection equipment.
• ASQ certifications (e.g., CQI, CQT).
• Ability to read and interpret GD&T.
• Proficiency in using statistical process control (SPC) software.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Yellow Belt certification.
