Salary Range: $61,000 - $88,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Allegan that are seeking skilled Production Supervisors. These organizations are dedicated to maintaining high standards and are looking for professionals who can contribute effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production activities to ensure efficiency and adherence to schedules.
• Supervise, train, and mentor production team members to foster a high-performance environment.
• Monitor product quality and implement corrective actions to meet established standards.
• Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement process optimizations.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve production issues and ensure smooth operations.
• Manage raw material inventory and coordinate with supply chain to prevent shortages.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a production team to achieve targets.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across departments.
• Proficiency in using manufacturing execution systems (MES) and other production management software.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
• Experience with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle
• Demonstrated ability to train and mentor production staff
• Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish, Mandarin) relevant to the local workforce
• Experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment (e.g., FDA, ISO)
