Salary Range: $74,000 - $108,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Plainwell that are seeking skilled Process Engineers. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency and cost reduction.
• Design, implement, and validate new process equipment and technologies.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process deviations.
• Monitor key process indicators and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.
• Create and maintain detailed process documentation, including PFDs, P&IDs, and SOPs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful process integration.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies like Lean and Six Sigma.
• Provide technical support and training to production and maintenance personnel.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies for process optimization and waste reduction.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis.
• Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, PRO/II) and CAD tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
• Experience with particular MES/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, JMP, R, Python)
• Project management experience or certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM)
• Experience with automation or Industry 4.0 initiatives
