Salary Range: $53,000 - $77,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Lead and train a team of shipping and receiving associates.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and reconciliation.
• Coordinate with production, sales, and logistics to meet shipping deadlines.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and effectively.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and quality control standards.
• Prepare and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading and customs forms.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience in shipping, receiving, or warehousing within a manufacturing environment
• Proven ability to lead and mentor a small team
• Proficient in using ERP/MRP systems for inventory management and transaction processing
• Strong knowledge of shipping and receiving best practices, including safety regulations and quality control
• Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment, with current certification preferred
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate record-keeping and inventory control

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen).
• Certification in forklift operation and safety.
• Proficiency in using an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
• Demonstrated ability to train and mentor junior staff.
• Experience with inventory management software beyond basic ERP functionality.
