Salary Range: $63,000 - $96,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Ludington seeking Shop Foremans who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shop operations and production schedules.
• Supervise, train, and mentor a team of manufacturing technicians.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform preventative maintenance.
• Manage inventory of parts, tools, and supplies.
• Collaborate with engineering and management on project planning and execution.
• Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Proficient in the operation and maintenance of various manufacturing equipment (e.g., CNC machines, welders, presses).
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols and quality control standards in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team leadership skills.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma certification
• Experience with ERP systems or other production management software
• Formal leadership training or certification
• Welding certification or advanced machining skills
• Proficiency in a second language relevant to the workforce
