Salary Range: $100,000 - $147,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Lansing that are seeking Supply Chain Managers. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize costs and efficiency.
• Manage supplier relationships, including contract negotiation and performance evaluation.
• Oversee inventory management to minimize stockouts and reduce carrying costs.
• Lead demand planning and forecasting processes to align with production schedules.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain.
• Collaborate with production, sales, and logistics teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Utilize data analytics to identify trends and make informed supply chain decisions.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in supply chain management within a manufacturing environment
• Proven experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for supply chain planning and execution
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
• Demonstrated ability to manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts
• APICS CSCP or CPIM certification preferred

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with an ERP implementation or upgrade
• Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt)
• Proficiency in a data visualization tool (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP, CSM)
