Salary Range: $85,000 - $125,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Holt that are seeking skilled Purchasing Managers. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery.
• Manage supplier relationships, including contract negotiation and performance evaluation.
• Oversee the procurement of raw materials, components, and MRO supplies to meet production demands.
• Lead and mentor a team of purchasing agents, fostering professional growth and high performance.
• Analyze market trends and supply chain risks to inform purchasing decisions and mitigate disruptions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing practices.
• Collaborate with engineering and production to identify cost-saving opportunities and new material solutions.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5+ years of progressive experience in purchasing or procurement within a manufacturing environment
• Proven track record of successful negotiation and vendor management
• Strong understanding of ERP systems and procurement software
• Demonstrated ability to analyze market trends and develop strategic sourcing plans
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives
