Salary Range: $67,000 - $101,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality control procedures and inspection plans.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for non-conformances.
• Monitor and analyze production processes and product quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Lead and participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure quality requirements are met throughout the product lifecycle.
• Facilitate the use of statistical process control (SPC) and other quality tools to optimize manufacturing processes.
• Investigate customer complaints related to product quality and drive resolution.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis, and problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys).
• Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
• Experience with various quality tools and techniques (e.g., FMEAs, control plans, PPAP).

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with statistical process control (SPC) software.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Certification in quality disciplines (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt).
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Knowledge of specific industry standards or regulations (e.g., ISO 13485 for medical devices, IATF 16949 for automotive).
