Engineering Manager | Paw Paw, MI
Salary Range: $118,000 - $167,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering their professional growth and development.
- Oversee the design, development, and improvement of manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Manage engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and supply chain teams to optimize manufacturing operations.
- Implement and maintain engineering best practices, standards, and safety protocols.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Analyze production data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
- 7+ years of experience in engineering within a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing engineering projects from conception to completion, including budget and timeline management.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience with CAD software, PLM systems, and other relevant engineering tools.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior engineers.
- Familiarity with a variety of manufacturing processes (e.g., CNC machining, injection molding, automation).
- Experience managing projects with external vendors or suppliers.
- Advanced degree in engineering or a related technical field.
