Salary Range: $112,000 - $161,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering their professional growth and development.
• Oversee the design, development, and improvement of manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, scope, and deliverables.
• Manage engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Implement and maintain engineering best practices, standards, and methodologies.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental policies.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• 7+ years of experience in engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record of successfully leading engineering teams and projects from concept to completion in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience with budgeting, resource allocation, and project management tools relevant to manufacturing operations.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen).
• Familiarity with Industry 4.0 technologies and their application in manufacturing (e.g., IoT, AI, automation).
• Proven ability to mentor and develop junior engineers and team leads.
• Strong understanding of product lifecycle management (PLM) systems and processes.
• Experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment (e.g., medical devices, aerospace).
