Salary Range: $60,000 - $87,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering and production to understand material requirements.
• Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery.
• Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to achieve cost savings.
• Manage purchase orders, ensuring on-time delivery and resolving discrepancies.
• Monitor inventory levels to optimize stock and minimize carrying costs.
• Analyze market trends and supplier performance to mitigate risks.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.

Recommended Qualifications

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle
• APICS certification (e.g., CPIM, CSCP)
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or blueprints
• Experience negotiating complex contracts or long-term agreements
