Salary Range: $79,000 - $124,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Allegan that are seeking Electrical Engineers. Key Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and tests electrical systems and components for manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoots and resolves electrical issues in production machinery to minimize downtime.
• Implements and maintains electrical safety standards and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems into new and existing products.
• Develops and optimizes electrical control systems for automated manufacturing processes.
• Selects, specifies, and procures electrical components and equipment based on project requirements.
• Conducts root cause analysis of electrical failures and implements corrective actions.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in electrical design, testing, and troubleshooting within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, motor control systems, and industrial automation.
• Proficiency in interpreting and creating electrical schematics and control panel layouts.
• Experience with relevant industry standards and safety regulations (e.g., NEC, NFPA 79).

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLC programming and industrial automation systems.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for industrial control systems.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor junior engineers or lead small project teams.
