Salary Range: $86,000 - $131,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular EHS audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and non-compliance issues, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Lead incident investigations for all EHS-related events, including near misses, injuries, and environmental spills, to determine root causes and prevent recurrence.
- Design and deliver comprehensive EHS training programs for all employees, covering topics such as hazard communication, emergency response, and safe work practices.
- Manage and maintain all EHS documentation, including permits, licenses, training records, and incident reports.
- Oversee the facility's waste management program, ensuring proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
- Implement and manage industrial hygiene programs, including air monitoring, noise assessments, and ergonomic evaluations.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to integrate EHS considerations into new equipment design, process changes, and facility modifications.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in EHS management within a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant federal, state, and local EHS regulations.
- Proven ability to develop, implement, and manage EHS programs and management systems.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Professional certification (e.g., CSP, CIH, CHMM) is preferred.
Bonus Qualifications
- Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
- Experience with ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 management systems
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
- Proficiency with EHS software platforms (e.g., Intelex, Cority, Sphera)
- Bilingual in Spanish or another language relevant to the local workforce
